Welcome to Jason Lees Design where our mission is quite simple yet rare; to create timeless modern furniture that is as functional and livable as it is beautiful. We build character and individuality into our designs by combining of the warmth of wood with interesting materials and understated details.

Made to order in Northern California, each piece of our furniture is expertly handcrafted using the finest materials. Available in a selection of standard woods as well as custom woods, sizes and finishes. We use a high percentage of FSC certified woods and utilize other renewable and sustainable materials, including bamboo. Materials such as lacquer, glass, metal, fabric, richlite, ecoresin, laminate, acrylic, corian and stone can also be incorporated.

We believe that furniture should be purchased with the long term in mind and when you invest in quality and timeless design, you should get exactly what you want. Often this requires a custom solution, which is one of our specialties. In addition to offering customization of our collection, we can also design custom one-of-a-kind pieces. Jason Lees Design furniture is designed to be suitable for a variety of environments including homes, hotels, offices and commercial spaces. We work with clients from across the United States and internationally on both small and large projects, offering highly personalized service. Examples of recent projects include:

• 120 pieces of custom designed room furniture for The Inn Above Tide, a luxury boutique hotel in Sausalito on San Francisco Bay.
• A custom dining table for a residence in the historic Hotel des Artistes on New York’s Upper West Side.
• Custom bed, dresser and nightstands made out of sustainable bamboo for a coastal residence in Ventura County.
• A custom media cabinet for a modern suite in a high-end senior living complex in Japan.
• For a transportation library at the University of California, Berkeley, a custom 20 ft. long streamline modern circulation desk.
• Three custom wood pieces with colored lacquer and laminate to match the interior palette for a residence in San Diego’s landmark El Cortez building.
